I hope you haven't forgotten my role in this little story. I'm the leading man. You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies.
If you give in to your impulses in this world, the price is that it changes your personality in the real world. The player and character are one and the same.
I think one can play Guild Wars 2 as a traditional MMO. Certainly that was the case for GW1. Quite a lot of my friends in GW1 basically played that and nothing else. However, I would say that is the minority or at the least varies wildly from player to player.
Variety is the spice of life!
(Also what famous MMO? I want to play/try...)

Thought it was pretty obvious.

Oh, forgot that came out actually. Someone told me too but I just forgot. Haven't been reading a lot of gaming stuff lately. I see. Sorta derp question. Never mind then.

It dates back earlier then that, from the stone age:

Ding, 1500 pages!
My friend got hacked and his email was changed, he can't get support as they require his email address, but since they changed it, he cant use it anymore, any advice?
Why can't I find this thread anywhere?
Anyway - How do you feel about gw2 now? Is it boring at level 80? Still enjoying?
At 80, I'm doing all the things I enjoyed while levelling up (world completion, dungeons with friends, wvw). Trying new builds, and trying to get better with the builds I have (personal improvement). With the exception of the bugs screwing over Orr's event chains, it's pretty much what the game was advertised as. I got what I expected, and am finding ways to enjoy myself.
Anyone who's "bored" at level 80 was looking for things the game said it wasn't going to have. Whether they were misled by other misinformed people, or intentionally ignorant is up in the air, but yeah.
For anyone else: The Patch is tonight, right?

Basically exactly what Kelesti just said applies for me too. I am having fun at a leisurely pace.
Though I have slowed down playing the game a bit due to all the other games that are coming out right now. It's quite a lot and I can't really play everything at once.
Well, bought it while misinformed, and are finding it doesn't match what they expected (due either to said misinformation or ignorance). I've said it before, I'll say it again: those of us familiar with the series knew what we were getting, as did those who actually took the time to look into it. Others were misinformed about the design intents, and others didn't research it, saw it was an MMORPG and had expectations based purely on that, and are disappointed (or claim to be, you never can tell...after all, some of the people claiming to be disappointed have spent 100s of hours in the game...)
Again...if you're bored now, look at how many hours you've put into the game (/age will help if you're not sure), look at how long the game's been out (just over 5 weeks for head-start), look at the price you paid, and look at how you approached the game (though that tends to go back to the first point, though not always). I'm not saying it's not possible to be bored, or that there's something wrong with that person -- but I am saying it is that person's fault they're bored.
I'm sure he is. These types of responses are why people are so violently against the "This game is not for you" posts. Sometimes, those posts are extremely warrented and appropriate... then there's times like this with your post where you didn't even attempt to see it from his perspective and came up with a world-shattering revelation that will surely stop him from steaming wildly on the internet without his longing enjoyment in Gw2.
Anyway, the whole thing's been dragged out too far. It's semantics at this point.
Mountains rise in the distance stalwart as the stars, fading forever.
Roads ever weaving, soul ever seeking the hunter's mark.
still totally loving it. Put in huge hours and have only stepped into one dungeon, don't have fully exotic geared toons. God knows what I'm doing with my time but having a blast doing it. As a group of friends we certainly muck around a lot and socialise with others in the game.
"you can't be serious!!" - yes actually I am.
Basically what Kelesti said. I'm doing events, dungeons, the occasional WvW and lot's of exploring. I still have so much of the map to explore. And I only have one character at 80 so I think there is plenty of stuff left to keep me entertained
