www.guildwars2guru.com is the big GW2 website at the moment, dunno if it'll be the same post-release though.
Also yes, the game will have dances but I don't think they've been implemented yet or we'd have some videos. ><

So many videos.. So hard to not watch.. Ahh what the hell I'll forget it anyways... (Probably not)
Excited
Well, is there information on whether personal story quests will be linked together or can they be done in arbitrary order?

Saw a video where a dude named his character "Dont call me monk" so im pretty sure its just a character limit =)

Naming rules
1) Does not exceed 19 characters
2) Has a minimum of 3 characters
3) Uses only English letters.

Nope, I can guarantee a lot of other excited players have done exactly the same, hell... I'm not even into role-play but I have like a whole back-story for my character in my head and i know what sort of setup i'm going/how i want them to roughly look.
I know for sure that the proper roleplayers/GW1 players will have thought a LOT more about it than myself though :P
On topic: I would give my first-born son for beta to be released soon Q_Q (and obviously to be in it).
Actually, I have one worry about this game and the dynamic events that will happen.
How is Arenanet going to handle afkers? I mean, I don't think it will be a problem at first, but, just as it happened with WoW as it grew in popularity, there will come a time when a douchebag who doesn't want to actually participate and just goes and stands in the corner somewhere and then collects rewards when everything is done. While I know that you have to have participated somehow in the event, what exactly does that mean? Can someone go and shoot the damn bad guy once and then go stand in a corner where they won't be hit by any AOE and won't aggro any mobs and call that participation?
While 1 or 2 people it doesn't matter, much like it didn't really matter if 1 or 2 people in AV were afkers at first, what happens when 10, 20 and even more start being afkers, standing in a corner somewhere. It will scale the event, cause it asumes all those people, leaving those that are actually participating in a big handicap and possibly not able to complete the event. While it seems improbable that something like this would happen, I also thought it would be improbable (before blizz implemented the afk features in bg's) that there would be 10 afkers in an av, when lo and behold! At one point, I seriously counted 19 people AFK, sitting in the cave at av.
Anyone know what, if anything, Arenanet has planned to combat this?
The events make sure you are actively participating. Furthermore, there are gold, solver and bronze rewards for levels of participation.
On a similar topic, after they design each event, they go back and see how they can grief it, if they can, they either fix it or go so far as to remove the event.
The dynamic events scale on participation. If someone is afk, they aren't participating so the event won't scale with them in mind and they won't receive any award.

but hopefully, we might use them as decoys for our targets eheheh. what?![]()
Now that is stupid.
Had someone tried chat? Does it support Unicode?
For example Rift doesn't support my language not in Cyrillic, nor even in Latin script. If company thinks it can retain customers by making them violate their own language by using weird tranliteration schemes and unnaturally sounding name. If I called my character Jožin, I feel insulted having render it as Jozin, Jozhin, Youggin and similar cryptic nonsence. It's almost 2012.
[Infracted: May want to take the hint. Keep trolling this thread you'll end up having very little time to actually post between bans.]
