Well I kinda missed everyone who were talking about Guild Wars 1, but if someone want to play my name is Ranger Korao (Main PVE char). I don't really do PvE anymore, but I still have my Splinter Barrager and Incendiary Arrows builds I think, so I could do some PvE again. (Didn't finished Nightfall and EotN since I stopped playing Guild Wars at the end of Factions)

Anybody got any pictures of maps, or know how big the overall world is?
I think the closest thing to world map for now is this map which is found in Guild Wars: Ghosts of Ascalon.

It seems to be relatively the same as in GW1 with some major and minor changes, so it is a large world.

Just buying Guild Wars: Edge of Destiny and Guild Wars: Ghost of Ascalon
Are these the only two books on Guild Wars 2 lore?

Want to get into the story more!

Anyone here able to find a link or a quote for me? I saw a video with a bunch of bosses and one of them was (what looked like) the iron forge master. I can't find the video again and I really want to know cause I loved all of sorrow's furnace and that fight and boss was epic. I would squeeel like a beiber fan if the forge master was back in GW2

At around 3:24, is that what you're talking about? Never played GW1 to its fullest, but I thought that this boss looked awesome in this trailer.

So entitlement? No. More like it's a fucking terrible idea, it was a terrible idea for part 1, and it's a terrible idea for part 2.

It's ironic you claim that only 5 slots is "a fucking terrible idea", yet you proudly display 5 wow characters in your sig.

ACtually, I think that having less slots then classes is a good thing. That way there isn't as many of each class, and it makes it harder for people to reroll class so often because they would loose the progression of their character permantly because they would have to delete it. Plus, having extra slots avaible in the store allows people who really want the extra classes to pay and further support the amazing developer that areanet is and is becoming.

scratch that, just found my answer

    Thanks to you too!
Now to anxiously sit by the letterbox!

actually timeline wise Destiny's Edge comes first. Neither of the books have any real connection to each other but it might end up being best to read Destiny's Edge first.

He's right, Destiny's Edge is like 6 years before Guild Wars 2 when Ghosts of Ascalon is 1 year before Guild Wars 2.
