I don't think someone who have not finish at least some campaigns is going to get very far with their HOM. Also if you complete EOTN you will get secondary requirements for war in kryta automatically while doing primary quest line, so there isn't any "pre-quests" that need to be done after that. Also you should complete EOTN anyways for Monumental Tapestries so that you can show titles in your HOM, unless you want to buy these (which new player shouldn't be doing).Originally Posted by Maklor
Someone new to game should complete some campaigns before focusing on their HOM. Don't know how long you expect it to take complete EOTN or prophecies, but there is 16 missions in EOTN + primary quests(dont remember how many). These missions can take up to hour if you keep failing it, but they can also take just couple mins if you are good or mission just happen to be short like "a time for heroes" is that can be completed in couple mins. I would say most of these take average 30mins for first timer to complete.

Random post but I would just like to say that thanks to the post about the Everquest server here, my Charr Engineer will now be named Fippy Darkpaw, because that name is just awesome, and I can see it fit the kind of character I want it to be. One name down, a billion to go.

For my first character i think i have narrowed it down to either engineer or necromancer, i have never had such a hard time picking a class
