If the dodge system works with spells, is it safe to assume that all harmful, targeted spells have 'flight time' and none land instantly when cast?

Does someone have some link for a video of a guardian doing some pvp?
Im mainly interested in the control/support aspect of the guardian, I wonder if it works well in pvp.
I saw here that there was some video of a guardian in those pvp matches during gamescon or pax cant remember, where one of the devs joked about the guardian being immortal in that game or something like that.
So anyone? :P
thanks

I think we were both right after reading that thread Ronyx
Will there be instant roll PvP characters?
And level playing fields gear-wise for PvP unlike WoW?
Please, please say yes to at least one -.-
All characters, when entering structured/hot-join PvP, will be boosted to max level, given all skills for your profession, and given standardized stats. I think that's a yes to both of your questions, though I don't really know what an "instant roll PvP character" would be.
100% yes for the second point. Will need a source for the first as I think it's right but I'm unsure. I know all PvP characters get a fresh specific set of gear, and the only thing that improves the longer you PvP is the look of the gear set.
Like in Guild Wars.
Won't be quite the same in GW2 but effectively the same. Once you get out of the tutorial area with your character you can go to the mists (or whatever lobby there is) and there you get standardized sets, bumped to level 80, and receive skills for the character. You then can customize it a bit and save that build for any time you wish to participate in competitive pvp.
For the WWW it isn't like this. You go in there with the gear you have and the skills you have. You'll get a level boost but that's it.
My potential Warrior PvP build:
http://gw2.luna-atra.fr/skills_tool/...itch=2f339b133
Has plenty of utility and short CDs. Depending on how badly warriors get kited I might switch out "On my Mark" for "Bull's Charge" and go for a high mobility build. I have a feeling the standard for warriors is going to be herpderp hammer knockback/stun fest facerolling. So this seems like a viable build that isn't retarded OP.
This will be my Thief. My strategies I have so far is when I use Dagger/Pistol is probably Head Shot>Shadow Shot>Dagger Skills>Retreating Shot. Pistol/Pistol will probably be using all my Condition skills and then use Unload and Roll for Initiative for more Unload. Of course I'll change this when the game reaches open beta/live.

No idea how it works in GW2 but in GW1 projectiles were leading the target. So in order to dodge the attack, you had to move if you were stopped, or change direction/stop if you were moving. If you were running in straight line with constant speed you'd get hit.
i found a really cool asura i like the look of

Hahaha Love that pic COME AT ME BRO!
Besides that is there a lot of info/pictures/videos on Capital Citys and home instances of the races yet I tried to find info of them and besides words or videos of dev's talking about them I can't find anything.
I make a human (paladin ish) type class in every game (Human Guardian in this case) Maybe the home instances/city will make me change my mind but can't find anything visual on what they will look like.
Edit: Btw is it me or does the Asura Kind of look like the characters in Little Big Planet I dunno but it makes me think of it for some reason when I look at them.
For Humans, their home city is also the capital of Kryta, Divinity's Reach. You can also see more what it look like in this video:
