Not sure whats your fair amount, but you can get these for 4k if you just leave buy message on trade at Central Transfer Chamber (American District). Probably even 3k, but I bought like 10 of these for 4k couple days ago for friend.

My plan for 20 HoM rewards. Require only time investment and one armor (where i can throw all money collected so far).

Any advice for another 10, cheap points? Got all campagins.

Do War in Kryta and Hearts of the North. Sell royal gifts you get from war in Kryta. You get about 23 gifts from war in Kryta that sell for 4k each so you end up 92k plus you will have some medals of honors that you only need to do first part of Hearts of the North to get 1 oppressor weapon. Use some of that 92k to buy 1 destroyer weapon which go for like 45-50k.

Do challenge missions or buy hero armors. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Hero_armor I did Dajkah Inlet awhile ago and got 2 armors from first run and 3 from second, 3rd and 4th run only gave 1, but each run lasted 17-20mins. You can only upgrade 5 heroes with these, so with luck you could get them all in 1-2 runs and then move to another challenge mission for other hero armors. MOX dont need hero armor and you can show it in your HOM, phoenix is easy to get but you need to level it (takes like 15mins if you dead level it) other 2 rare pets are bit harder to get but come as level 20, so you can show these in HOM.

Finish factions and nightfall + 1 title like protector of Elona or do sorrows furnace (its very easy to solo). This will net you 3 points.

Good plan here, moa took me about an hour to farm total, including farming the items needed for the 2 collectors and doing that hungry drake quest, I already had done SF previously so that was just a quick run in to get set on fire and warp out.

I have a very silly sounding question...

Has there been any information released on actual guilds in guild wars?

From a Guild Wars related blog i read:

"In GW2, your account will be in one guild, but you can join as many guilds as you like! When you log in, you'll be prompted (if you belong to more than one guild) which one you want to represent. So if you're heading off for a bit of Tournament action, you might want to represent your PvP guild. Similarly to current guilds, you'll have your chosen guild tag after your name, and probably a cape, although I've not come across any information about capes in GW2 yet (I hope they look good!). Once you've chosen a guild to represent, you'll show up as active on that roster and other guildies will be able to see where you are / what you're doing and you'll have access to that specific guild chat."

Additionally:

"To try and encourage people to join guilds and do things together, Anet have decided to reward guild group efforts with "influence points". There'll be a variety of things you can spend these points on to benefit your guild, such as increased guild storage or synchronized calendars."

She didn't provide any sources, but I think she does pretty thorough research (or so she says :P)

Neither will be. Only Tyria, and not even all of that is.

They said it when introducing the Thief, since they don't want that compared to the Assasin which is unique to Cantha, which won't be available at launch.

The actual quote is this "Finally, in our lore the assassin is very much a profession that has its root in Cantha and since we aren't visiting Cantha in the initial release of Guild Wars 2 we didn't want to draw any lore parallels between this new profession [thief] and the assassin."

Pretty sure they arent. They said the crystal desert wont be accessible at launch, which leads into elona. And as far as i remember, Cantha is now xenophobic and not open to outsiders.

No, everyone is on the same "faction", there is no open world PvP.

Ganking and griefing is not fun, Anet want you to be happy to see other players, not think, oh ffs heres one again. Like you in every other MMO.

No, there will not be factions. There is no world PvP either, however there is World vs World vs World where 3 worlds go at it for two weeks straight on a separate map in the mists.
