That doesn't really seem relevant at all. LOL.

If for whatever fantastical reason the Charr marched on the Asura, the Flame Legion [despite being shunned] would probably bring their powers to war. Very doubtful the Charr would not employ what is necessary to win due to bias.

Aren't the Charr technically dealing with a civil war?

However, with the rise of their new god, Gaheron Baelfire, the outcast Legion is now powerful enough to challenge all the other Legions of the charr at once.[2] Having learned from their mistakes, they have a plan to once again become the leaders of the charr.
The fact of the matter is that each of the four legions are lead by their own guy. They don't have one unified leader keeping everybody all friendly.
I hope you haven't forgotten my role in this little story. I'm the leading man. You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies.

If you give in to your impulses in this world, the price is that it changes your personality in the real world. The player and character are one and the same.

I consider the Ash, Blood, and Iron legion to have a sort of triumvirate among themselves. There's no single leader among them all, it's more like four separate nations though.

Yea. I think the Charr personal story has you dealing with the politics of the various legions. I saw a little video on a Charr cutscene where a rival legion attempts to assassinate another Charr lieutenant or something. Stuff kicks off.

Anyone else think that Charr are distant cousins of the skritt?

Although true, I do believe it was referenced somewhere that the Iron Legion has been taking the lead in Charr politics as of recently.

The skritt are a race of rat-like scavengers who share something of a hive intelligence when in sufficient numbers
The skritt are small omnivorous humanoids whose appearance is reminiscent of rats and bats.
No. I really don't think that a tiny rodent-humanoid race is related to a huge feline-humanoid race in the slightest.

That's like suggesting that dogs and cats are distance relatives just because they both walk around on all fours and have tails and fur.

mad luv and props for even knowing who they are (next thing you know you will be quoting rhymes from C.R.E.A.M. haha). i think a more apt paraphrase would be, "Charr War Bands ain't nothing to f--- with", so that it flows better with the song.

OT: after watching the emote videos of the 3 races the Charr are starting to grow on me. i am a big fam of the taunt emote especially, http://youtu.be/HNkSElX7JLQ?t=1m49s

I'd be more inclined to roll Charr if it wasn't for the fact they are animal people. I don't like monsters/animal races. That's why I could not play the Horde- all monsters/freaks.

Well, Aman in Tera are pretty awesome. But those feet break the entire game for me.

Your forgetting the Asura have an ace up their sleeve:
    http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/09/17/gu...floating-city/

The idea of the most defensible position is off the ground. And with that comes an implied portability. It’s not just Rata Sum—you go out into the Metrica province, which is right outside, and you’ll find floating buildings out there. You’ll find a lot of their structures have power stones under them to levitate so that, if need be, they can move them somewhere else. Could Rata Sum move? It would have to be a really big threat.
Then on top of that, consider the thing that actually decides who wins wars, logistics. With Rata Sum on the move, the Charr's supply lines would stretch endlessly and never keep up, while meanwhile the Asura could just gate supplies in from anywhere.

If we are related...skritt are like the black sheep cousin that you try to forget about.....
    ...or in our case, exterminate.
But really don't think we're related. They don't look similar enough to be a species split off. 2 different species imo.

@ Mif. Not to mention that they'd have to come through both the norn and humans to get to us. That's smart thinking there, ofc

Do you think the racial pride of a nation of cats would abide floating rodents to win?

You're assuming, of course, that the Charr don't capture every single gate, working or not.

    In addition:

Travel using asura gates has a few restrictions. Most prominently, gates cannot be instantly tuned to any location, and larger jumps often require a greater amount of energy and time to prepare.
