Also, since there was talk about the beta client, saw this on reddit: "The Beta client used last week will carry over to future Beta events. Devs confirmed it and told us to keep it if we intend on pre-purchasing."
So maybe those with slow connections / bandwidth limits / only able to download at certain times may want to download early on. *shrug*

just paid 20 euros to reserve my CE pre-purchase in case it's sold out at my local store.
Paying 1/3 of the price of a new game to have the opportunity to pay 130 euros more in a few days for a game which hasn't even got a release date feels silly

I'll be getting a digital version, so I'm pretty sure I'm at no risk of them running out by the end of april 10th.

If I wasn't moving out next week, I'd shell out $150 for the CE for the soundtrack... but I am trying to take solace in the fact that I might be able to find the soundtrack post-release on Amazon for some equally ludicrous amount.

Just so everyone knows, I downloaded the client from the link. It was legit and I now am staring at the Guild Wars 2 login screen..... and now I'm sad.... =P
But honestly, its cool to have GW2 downloaded and installed so I dont have to worry about it later when everyone else is installing.

Has anyone else seen the March 2012: State of the Game? It an interview with Colin, in which it talks about several things. Most interesting is that one of the ANet team will be controlling the Elder Dragons, rather than trying to make them with some sort of scripted AI. He also confirms a 2013 release date. Sorry if it's a repost, but I couldn't find any info on this after a minimal search on these forums.
