I can't wait to pre-purchase my DD, but I have a feeling I'll be slightly less excited about it than you are about your CE. :P
All I'll be getting is the game I've been looking forward to since it was announced, you get to look forward to that + some interesting trinkets. :O

Aye, can't believe the long wait is almost over. I don't know why, but somehow, actually paying money for the game will feel good, make it feel less like vaporware

There will be EU servers, especially since europe is actually their biggest userbase afaik.

in most game aussies & south africans have no problems using eu servers with 100+- pings, so it seems fine.
thought there were only going to be american servers which would be a major problem for most.

It wouldn't surprise me if the ArenaNet site redirects to the QVS site on April 10. Keep a US proxy handy.

Guild wars site is $59.99 USD for digital, on that QVS store that no one has heard of it's $89.99AUD for digital and EB Games is selling Boxed for $88AUD(Which for boxed is about right for us Aussies).... that QVS store can take a running jump if they think people will pay $89.99 for the bog standard version, Where do they get off charging a almost $30 more for a DIGITAL copy. I mean Rift and Aion and everyone else does not jack up the price for digital, it all comes from the same server. Boxed yes will be more expensive, but digital should not be.

EDIT: You dont think Arena Net would really do that Mif, do you? There not assholes like Blizz (apparently D3 is costing aussies more?)and if that was the case wouldn't they just region lock there own site?

ETAA: Also if it went thru a proxy with an Aus CC wouldn't it just get declined anyway?

A lot of sites tend to not check card location. NScoft also allows payment via paypal too, so that's a possibility.

Nothing that states only U.S People etc can purchase from NCSoft If we had to buy from QVS then we would not be able to access buy.gw2.com as it would say sorry not avail in your region or similar.

I'm going to say this as nicely as possible but man after watching that MOP footage i could not go back to that game, The environment looks so bland compared to gw2.

I think MoP has some very nice environments. Just the lack of polygons becomes pretty visible now.

Anet has their own team testing the game.

I think MoP has some very nice environments. Just the lack of polygons becomes pretty visible now.

I use Witopia because it was only $35 for 12 months when I signed up, but its since gone up to $50 (I doubt I'll renew it this year because my main reason for getting it was to watch F1 on iPlayer and now the BBC doesn't have the rights anymore )

The real problem though, is diminishing returns, it's hardly worthwhile to pay $20 on a VPN to save $25 on GW2.
