Considering the home-instances in the cities have been open in the previous press-beta weekend, does anyone know if they will open up for the Hall of Monuments in future beta-weekends? Would like to test out some of my rewards!

Someone already said in another thread that they confirmed that it would not be available until launch (which I'm fine with, will have more impact then.)
But were unable to list a source, so he said to take it with a grain of salt.

Man, even though I wasn't there, I swear I felt like cheering with the audience when he spoke about the beta keys. It's silly how this game is getting such a strong vibe to it already, even outside the game itself >.<.

I facepalmed at the guy saying that MMO's have got the community aspect right but don't have any competition. IMO, it's the complete opposite, most (western) MMO's seem to be designed around a "screw every one else as long as I can succeed/progress" model.

I like the part where he talks about rotations. Anet really gets it. It seem stupid to develop modern 3d game and have players play UI (rotations, in-game power auras, raid frame etc) when technology allows for lot more action based combat nowadays. I remember it didn't use to be so bad in WoW, but at some point devs started to argue about rotations with player base and in wotlk they went all out and developed these rotation mini-games. Unfortunately SWToR tried to mimic it as much as they could.

i thought sales always went by the companies timezone? like we east coast guys gotta wait on maintenance time of PST (usually where companies are)

It does. Zavvi UK starts selling pre-purchases at 8am GMT on the 10th. This is 3pm my time here.
