That is true, but I like the look personally. I mean like, when I look normal, I feel like I'm being normal for other people. I don't feel like me. My family and childhood friends are very normal people. In looks and action. It's still hard for them to understand that what I like is different. I did try looking normal to quell them, for a couple of years, but then I realized it's about making me happy, not them.

I remember when I came to that realization. Very liberating. Went from a Christian to a Deist living in a conservative home. Wasn't easy, but for the better.
