I know a couple of ladies in my guild don't speak in vent during PuGs anymore because they have had kids freak out upon hearing a female voice, so yeah that reaction does exist still.
Also, pale is definitely better than tan.
I have enjoyed lurking through this thread, all almost 400 pages of it.
