They're just plain white ones. And just because I haven't used contacts doesn't mean I don't know how to use em. ^^ They did come with instructions and seen plenty of people poke their eyes with em.

This is from a photo shoot I did for a club I'm in regularly. They had their 7-year-anniversary and invited old and new regulars as testimonials for the event-magazine.

Aaaand this is me holding the mentioned magazine up. Inception!

And finally me and my beloved :S

    Off I go!

I recorded some on the way home from Gothenburg a week ago and made a few gifs.

    There's a third one, but I'll only link it; it's 11.9 mb.

I srsly have to start making these. Mine wouldn't be as exciting/artsy tho, as I mostly shoot ppl (models) and no scenery. Beautiful Also, from man to man, yeah, you have a certain style and look that probably is pretty appealing to a lot of women. :P

    Thank you, both of you.

It's actually rather easy to make gifs like these, provided you have some kind of equipment. I shoot video using my Nikon D7000 and, mostly, Nikkor AF-S 50/1,4G. When I get home, I fire up Photoshop CS6 and do the following:

File -> Import -> Video Frames to Layers...
(I usually only import every second frame, to reduce file size)

First of all, shrink the "video" (now layers in an animation) to a width of around 500 px, I find that a good compromise of resolution vs file size. Next, do whatever you want; perhaps change colors/brightness through adjustment layers on top of all the layers, etc. You'll get the hang of it. When it's time to save, go to:

File -> Save for Web... These are the settings I normally use: http://i.imgur.com/GJmwu.png
Lossy pretty much adds noise and reduces file size. I use 0, 9 or 19, depending on the length (file size) of the gif. Unchecking the Transparency-box usually reduces the file size by an additional 5-10 %.

Most often, I can't bother to upload my gifs to dA, so I just save them to a public Dropbox-folder and hotlink from there. When I post gifs here, though, I first upload the gifs to dA (Category: Digital Art > Miscellaneous > Animation), to avoid getting suspended from Dropbox again, because of excessive traffic.

Also, when you think about it, why would stationary scenery (well, in this case it was made better because I wasn't stationary, but you get my point) be any more suitable for video, than living, vivid people? Just check out this gif that I posted a couple of weeks ago:

Please, do record some of your models for a couple of minutes and make a gif or two. It can't hurt to try!
