Since speccing affliction I've noticed that Soul Swap does not include the Shadowflame DOT, why is this?
The tooltip for Soul Swap states "...remove your shadow damage-over-time effects from the target.... the next target you cast soul swap:exhale on will be afflicted by the shadow damage.over-time..."
Which seems to me that it should account for all shadow damage-over-time, including the shadowflame DOT-component.
Has this been adressed before?

The dot is fire damage.

Shadowflame is a Shadowfire spell, not a Shadow Spell.
