Thats not what everyone else said... Just that completing story can be achieved with any weapon.

As for the build diversity i partially agree and disagree. Some weapons are barebones but other have more possible build variety, for example any pure DPS weapon.

Either way, overall they are extremely bland and grindy in relation to the original and a huge letdown, and that's putting it in a very mild way.

Yowza, 6 "story" missions and apparently it takes 3-4 hours to get through just that? Side missions and the like will be around as well, but those aren't usually accompanied by any cutscenes or anything.

Hoping this is a lot better than it sounds, because right now it's sounding like a pretty meager start to S2, which folks have been waiting for for years. And given that SWL hasn't been super exciting since it launched, this really needs to be a big release to try to generate/keep any hype going for the title at this point.

Nope. There were fixed builds, BiS if you would like. There was overwhelming number of abilities but only few viable ones (mostly because numbers dont lie).
I miss the different affixes, like blast or chain with coresponding passives tho.

And about B) - no, it is not.
