Every single game I play (console games, PC games, whatever), I like to play on 1 difficulty above normal. Whether that's Hard, or slightly hard or whatever is up to you. That usually means most of normal content with a few heroic bosses (easier ones) tossed in. In Wrath, I was in a 10 man guild. Every Friday I lead a 25 man ICC Pug. Initially we couldn't even kill Lady Deathwhisper. As it is with pugs, players came and went but the majority of the player base remained and came back every week (for the free epics). After a lot of coaching, and 5-6 months, this was the first pug on our server to down 11/12 in one day. For me, Wrath was not easy, especially since I chose to raid lead. All that time coaching led me to perfect my own UI, keybinds, and skill as a raid leader to micromanage while leaving enough room for players to learn their own class. I learned about logging raids, maxing DPS rotations (on standstill fights like Saurfang), precasting heals (to prevent Tank Deaths from bosses like Heroic Festergut) and trying to top meters while avoiding fun mechanics.

Wrath made me a better player, hands down. We came into Cataclysm and took 10 players and in 1 month became the best 10 man Alliance guild on the server with shotty attendance. A lot of people who say Wrath was too easy didn't play the Wrath that I played. By the end of it I was 11/12 HM, I remember doing TOC weekly for the Mount. One BLINK away from the screen resulted in hours of failed work. I never played with that level of intensity in Cataclysm.

EDIT: Granted most of Cata isn't out yet. I don't remember having anything good to say about Naxx (although Malygos was a nice fight). I quit in early Wrath too, until TOC came out (missed Ulduar like a fool), and I had fun until the end. Minus the 4 months before Cata came out, it was getting pretty stale.

I also enjoyed wrath more then cata, im extremely casual. We'll see if that changes in a few patches.

For someone that thinks they can play the game well you are really stupid. If more people quit then blizzard will go back to raids like in wotlk. Its people like you that should never have an opinion... If everyone listened to your opinions wow would be ruined.
