So I just watched the VOD for the fnatic v Alternate game. That was an incredibly close game, but fnatic just team fought so much better. They were a bit messy, but they came out quite a bit ahead with the kog pick.

And not terribly surprised by ex.CLG.Eu being picked up by EG.

CLG.EU decided not to sign back with CLG as they were offered a better offer. They kept quiet about it for a long time for whatever reason. It was leaked today or yesterday or something that they were signing with EG so they went ahead and did their official announcement today.

It's the same roster that was on CLG.EU they are just now EG.EU or whatever they choose to call themselves.

A lot of people figured it was EG or Azubu. It's not exactly news if you keep track of LoL stuffs, but it's their official announcement.

I actually giggled here. Going to the LoL thread in the LoL forum and throwing a random post about HoN allegedly being superior? Totally not obvious. :D

I'll admit that Pulsefire Ezreal is rather expensive, but that's probably because of all the goodies attached to it other than the actual skin. That and he's more futuristic with lasers and lights, while Battlecast Cho'gath is much more current-tech mecha godzilla. Wouldn't call them quite the same.

I like how most of the heroes are just blatant copies of DotA heroes, like Witch Doctor/Devourer(Butcher).

I don't think so, he's not strong enough for competitive tournnaments, high elos and stuff

Yep, he's still easily kited, and other bruisers can do so much more than what Garen does. Garen basically soaks damage and deals damage, while others can perform other feats such as locking down one enemy or even the enemy team.

It's just a fanboy at work. Not much different from the DOTA purists that won't even give League a change just because it's a newbie game.
