You get snowflakes dropping on you when you use it. pretty cool, as you can click it every minute and have the buff at all times :P

But in any case, you don't roll for it, so there you have it. If a hunter procces it they get it anyhow.

Scythes are not usually associated with weapons, traditionally a scythe is a farming tool. They are pretty impractical weapons anyway, because in order to slash an opponent with a scythe you need to put him between you and your weapon.

They do make excellent weapons though. Especially in slasher type movies...

At any rate, the only other 'scythe' I can think of is the one I got from a Warlock quest ages ago. Around level 50, I think.
