    Another vote for Freddy Mercury here. His voice is just amazing.

    Other notable contenders:

    Seasick Steve - Just a legend
    JR Hayes of Pig Destroyer - By far the best metal lyricist and vocalist I think I've ever heard
    Dave Hunt of Anaal Nathrakh - The things that man can do with his voice aren't even human most of the time.

    But Freddy tops them all.

    EDIT: Damn someone mentioned Alison Mosshart and I nearly forgot. Her voice is amazing too.
