Just checked.. auto tbh, I don't exactly know what it does, so I left it there.

Does it count if I turn off cores and or HT?
I'll post the max I can get out of my chip after work today also.

Isn't it the usual 'precaution' to disable HT before overclocking anyway? Don't think turning off cores is allowed though .

And holy crap I made it to the lists. Next step is to get to 4,4GHz which is the lowest sandy bridge at the moment.

No, not really. Exception is for super-high overclocks as by some point the increased effectiveness per core will make instability come easier.

Please don't post work in progresses. If you're going to post, post. If not, don't edit your post later, as I cant watch every post in this thread,

First time overclocking a CPU, pretty happy so far. Going to try lower the voltage later tonight.

That is a pretty darn low voltage for 4.7. Does it hold up in say 30 runs of intel burn test as well? (version 2.52, not 2.3 with the old linpacks)

In that screen his temps are hardly at the max reported by RealTemp, so it might be a little higher under load. It's still a probably a pretty good voltage, but I don't think the cpu is actually at it's max voltage according to the screen.

It set the CPU Voltage in BIOS to 1,34 V. Im not that much into overclocking, so I don't know why its lower.
Anyways as we speak, im doing another P95 test with CPU Vcore, at 1,325 V.
