    Acer Aspire x3400 Problems

Heya, so my mum has had this computer for 6 months, and all of a sudden the power just drops. We've changed the power cables, the plug we used, location, reinstalled the OS and everything. We've requested it to be serviced but sceptical on whether they'll fix it.

She uses it for WoW only - it's not the best computer in the world, but runs it fine.
    Heres the specs.
    AMD Athlon II X4, 2.9GHz
    3GB RAM
    640GB hard drive
    Windows 7 Home Premium
    Nvidia GF9200 1024 MB
    optical drive (CD, DVD)
9x USB 2.0, HDMI, VGA, eSATA, gigabit ethernet, DVI
    5.1 surround sound
    built-in sound card
    wired keyboard, wired mouse
Also has a 220 wat power supply.

    Help us mmo champions!

    Thanks in advance.

If you've requested service, it's generally good manners to let them attempt to fix it before bothering us with it. We'll do the same thing they do, only we won't be able to touch the computer.

It's probably a failing power supply.

Wait your mum plays WoW? Geif?

Ontopic... yeah like Fuzzy said, not much we can do that they wont, and we won't be able to see realtime results or touch the hardware.

My best bet is that is your problem right there, you need more power, try a 400w power supply.

*EDIT* here is a great replacement, its cheap and reliable. perfect for you http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Certif.../ref=pd_cp_e_1
