Spartans never die...they're just missing in action. Halo spartans 100% everytime, but I have been a fanboy since Halo 1 so i'm kind of bias.

    300 thanks to this

My mind doesn't go either way without context

I'm familiar with both and hence it depends on the context. E.g. since this is a video-game board, Halo Spartans were my first association.

  9. #29
300 Spartans even though power armored wearing super humans are about a million times cooler they just are not real so regular old Greek Spartans it is.

Well the only reference I hear to a spartan is someone shouting out loud, "THIS IS SPARTA" Yeah, Im going to think about the 300.
Question: 300 Spartans vs One Unsc Spartan, who would win?
    BeeeeeeeoooooOOOOoooooooooooooooOOOO-FFFSSSHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!

The ones that actually existed, not something from a terrible video game
Actually, Mr. Lennon, I CAN imagine a world with no hatred, religion, war, or violence.
I can also imagine attacking such a world, because they would never see it coming.

Most people older than about 11 should say the Greeks.

A better question, is does mjolnir remind you of halo or of thor?

    Reminds me of Thor.

OT: First thing that comes to mind when Sparta is heard, would be the 300 Spartans.

Not my fault halo is the worst thing to ever happen to the fps genre!

At least the poll is shaping up well. What would be more interesting would be to see how many of the halo voters were aware of the spartans of history.

Ok worst fps? That would be Brink. Not Halo. And if you saw my post above you'd know I voted for the 300 spartans who gave their life at Thermopolyee. I WATCH HISTORY CHANNEL TOO.

Anyone who thinks of Halo when they hear the word "Spartan" clearly did not goto school or is a 12 year old kid who thinks Halo was the first FPS game ever to be made.
