I think I read somewhere for the DirectCU models that as long as you use Asus Smartdoctor for overclocking, it doesn't matter if your card dies directly/indirectly as a result of that overclocking. None of that "WARRANTY VOID IF YOU OVERCLOCK" crap, nifth eh?
But how do they know I didn't use Afterburner instead, because SmartDoctor is a piece of crap :S

That's the thing, SmartDoctor won't LET you fry it. It detects the card's maximum safe voltage (1.150v) and won't let you slide higher than that. Afterburner also has a max of 1.150v, unless you go into advanced options and unlock the rest of the voltage range. Then you could probably fry something :P
I'm pretty happy with 950mhz on the core (21.5% oc baby!) considering 1ghz is more or less the limit on air
