Judging by the ones I have rewatched the most, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Kenshin, and One Piece are up there, but I am not sure I would consider any of them the best. There are just too many good series out there. Like I loved the hell outa SDF: Macross and Clannad, but don't feel the need to rewatch them.

Now I wanna go watch it again. The music fing rocks in Frontier, just like all the other Macross series (Macross 7 is good too, but artwork is dated so fair warning).

Rouroni Kenshin (uncut and all of the seasons)

Nothing has captivated my mind like that story in any anime. The music, dialog, characters and story are just amazing.

For movies I have to give it to, Naussica of the Valley of the Winds and pretty much any Miyazaki film.

Too many to choose from, but the ones that come to mind when I think of best are: Cowboy Bebop, FMA: Brotherhood, and HunterXHunter.

Also, the Haruhi Suzumiya anime (except for S2 which was super boring) were pretty good. The movie (Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya) was especially good.

Detroit Metal City would be the funniest anime I know
Baccano! has a great Story, Action and Humor
and my all time favourite would be Welcome to the NHK!

But there are still so many other Animes i really loved like Clannad, Toradora, Higurashi no naku koro ni, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt and many more =D
