Pretty much i stumbled upon the adult swin line up.

Same here! Add in Digimon and Monster Rancher to the mix as well. Between Toonami and Adult Swim, I was set! (Pretty much anything on those line ups I adored watching) I miss the good Cartoon Network days.

Edit: Yu Yu Hakusho! How could I forget you?! Seriously, a great series overall and one of my favorites.

Yu Yu Hakusho, now that show was Awesome, better than anime nowadays...though got a bit repetitive with the whole tournament thing.

I'm pretty sure every teenage (or young) girl who saw Tuxedo Mask wanted to marry him. I swear he was my heartthrob back in the day. I was never into boy bands, but Tuxedo Mask--YES PLEASE!

Thank you SO much for saying this, I've been trying to remember the name of this show for years, I had no inkling of what it was called until I saw that, and I loved it.
These days I watch Elfen Lied every couple years, I just finished it for the 4th time now, and I'm currently watching Gunslinger Girl and Rin: daughters of something.

I forget the name of it, but the main protagonist used his sword backwards (never the sharp edge). It has been so long, I wish I could remember the name.

Edit: via some Googling I found the name of it: Rurouni Kenshin

Also, I thoroughly enjoyed Vampire Hunter D

I think my first 'real' anime was Captain Tsubasa. While I was 5. I think it was the french dub, since I sorta recall watching it on a french channel (TV5).

Also, wow, it took that many pages for someone to finally post NGE?

I prefer the original Tekkaman Blade. But Teknoman is rather good as well.

There was an anime I watched and it was about a mercenary team and the main character had bright red hair and their main ship was red (srsly). I think it had the word star in its title, can't really remember but if any of you guys know then it would be greatly appreciated.

Outlaw Star already mentioned. Oh and they weren;t mercenaries they were called outlaws and were more oddjob men. Though in that world they seem to converge.
