Pretty much all the kind of kiddie anime >_< Actually I think my first one was Gundam or Pokemon? I cant really remember at the moment but I do know one of my personal favorite movies from back when I was a kid was Princess Mononoke and I am currently watching it on netflix. Still my the best Miyazaki film imo :P
*turns head at desk and sees all Tokyo Pop volumes*
if your talking about Evangelion, I have read them all. Just last few years, I've veered away from watching the anime and just reading manga. easier for me and I can keep up with a lot more series then watching only a small handful of anime.
Which reminds me I need to catch up on the latest X-Men Anime series missed the last few episodes of the recent series.

I meant Love Hina and good man. Too many people it seems just know the anime. I started reading love hina when just 2-3 volumes had been released stateside. Ahhh the joys of checking the bookstore after school every few weeks since it never occurred to me to get the date online fun times fun times. It also converted me to reading manga instead of just watching anime. I also read it before i saw the anime. Hell i even picked up negima the moment i saw it was another ken akamatsu series(truth be told i had been putting it off for so long until i saw his name)
Yea I was the same with Negi as well. Still read Negi (slow to release online though, even though it appears to be ending soon). Only checked out the first couple of chapters of the Neo Negi series or whatever and wasn't as impressed.
I actually got into Love Hina from the calendar artwork (found the wallpaper of the crew in the hot spring and just fell in love with the look). Picked up the first couple of chapters and kept with it ever since. Haven't watched/read Love Hina recently though but it's a fun series. It was one of these two images that got me hooked:

Princess Mononoke, My Neighbour Totoro, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Inuyasha, Monster Ranchers, Digimon, Pokemon, Beyblade, and Yu-Gi-Oh. Oh and Medabots, that show was sick.

The earliest I can remember would be watching Dragon Bball, Gundam Wing, Evangelion, and Zoids in the late 90's - early 2000's. I was only like 5-6 years old when a lot of these older animes premiered in the states so it's hard to remember them all.
