This, only half second cast time on herb gathering and not even cancelling fly form to herb it. Hell, even if someone wants to kill them, they just press space and fly up.

Druid definetly. Gathering herbs without needing to shapeshift and instant fly mount.... No questiona at all.

Oh and yeah, i am not biased since i dont play one... My GF does, and she finishes everything fast and with no problem.
For herbing/mining its a tauren druid

If I'm farming herbs/ores, I use my druid. If I'm farming mobs, demo lock.

Leather go Worgdruid
Ore Druid or Paladin + crusaderaura
Mobs almost any Tankspecc with a bit selfhealing.. DK for example.

I agree with Uriel, if we are talking about gathering professions then Tauren Druid for Herbing, or a druid if Alliance, for Skinning Worgen Druid for Ally or just a druid for horde, Paladin's for mining because of Crusader Aura. If you are talking about farming mobs for cloth or anything else, then any class with little to no downtime would be good, so hunters or any class with self healing would work

(Tauren) Druids are the best gatherers for herb & mines, Worgen's good for skinning, anything else and you'll have to be more specific.

Farming mobs: Arms warrior, any race

Herbs = tauren druid, anything else, hands down, demonology lock. Flat out farming, nothing better.
I have a couple botting friends, and they all roll locks. Little to ZERO downtime, seriously. Soulstone = zero run backs. But we all know, you will never die.
