Winter's Heart - Book 9 of The Wheel of Time

Just motoring along through the series, I might wait until September or October to read The Gathering Storm and Towers of Midnight so that they are fresh for when A Memory of Light comes out.

Ulysses at the moment. Afterwards, either going to reread The Fault in Our Stars or go on to A Light in August. I have a whole library of Faulkner and Joyce to finish.

I'm just about to start A Feat for Crows.
I have heard it's quite boring; still thrilled after ASoS.

Currently finished reading Harry Potter again, just went with the Pottermore editions, the UK versions for a bit of flavor.
Currently reading Harry Potter fan fiction about the continuing Story, Albus Potter and .... There's 6 books in this series. They are well done.

Planning on re-reading the Artemis Fowl series before the next book comes out.

Personally, at least to me, getting very tired of Song of Ice and Fire. First 2 books were great. 3-5 seem to be dragging and getting worse. Seems a lot like how Wheel of Time went. Seems like the authors know where they want to go, or how the series will end but they don't know how to get there. Thus it drags on and on and on.

Other recent readings, loved Stieg's Milenium trilogy. Also been throwing in some old school Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

I just finished Moonwalking with Einstein, To End All Wars, the graphical memoir Stitches, Emperor of all Maladies and Bill Bryson's book Shakespeare. (It could be argued I read too much)

I just started a book on science consultants for the movie industry which sounds really really interesting, but unfortunately it was obviously published as someone's dissertation so it's kinda an awkward read. I'm going to stick with it, though, because it sounds fascinating.

I also just purchased The Idea Factory: Bell Labs and the Great Age of American Innovation which promises to be good.

Have I mentioned I read too much?

    Archaic Egypt - W.B. Emery
It's a studybook on early Egyptian society. A bit dry, but good read overall.
