I wonder if there is a minimum required amount you need to fold though, otherwise that would be a fairly easy way to pay yourself back for the GPU.

You can get like 10% off for every 2.5 Million points you do for them though if I recall. Not sure if they still do it though.

How do I uninstall this thing? Ever since I installed it my computer's been locking up for a couple of seconds every few minutes. Might not be the issue but I'd like to get rid of it just in case.

Unfortunately, no. I can't find it anywhere in my computer but I know I installed it. I think it's hidden.

Did you install it as a service? Go into services.msc (start -> write services.msc in search) and disable the service from there.

I never really thought about it, but I installed the CPU client before I installed the GPU client. I never touched the CPU client after it started folding, but after rebooting the CPU client was gone. Couldn't find it anywhere, even though I know I installed it and never uninstalled it. My user statistics page also only shows one client sending them data, so it's probably not even running. So while I'm not faced with the issues Runecapeman has, I'm in a similar situation with the client. And no, I didn't install them as services. My uneducated guess is that Runecapeman didn't either.

Not bad! Do we have anyone that folds just -bigadv? I read they are changing the core requirements soon and the folding community is going crazy. Though I don't think it will effect this team that much.

Wasn't the bigadv requirement before a minimum of a 6 core CPU? >_>

So my CPU just completed a huge work unit that came out to 8,625 points. Good lord.

It was 8 for bigadv and I think 12 for BIG bigadv. I hate those big WUs, PPD is always low but it's nice to get that many points when you check your stats
