I doubt it. It isn't really like a gaming company to file a frivolous trademark, even in Square's case they had intended to make Chrono Break until Chrono Cross not only sold poorly, but was met with harsh criticism. They renewed it once or twice then just let the trademark die when sales in the Chrono series weren't what they wanted them to be.

They haven't, before. That's why this is a fairly big deal--the first confirmation of Cataclysm came when Boub posted the Trademark info. It was met with some skepticism, but... well, here we are.

How did someone find this before Boub, he's usually the first on this stuff. I'm actually pretty wary of info until he posts it on the first page and says it's confirmed.

I doubt it. As far as I'm aware, filing a trademark costs money, more so if it's for multiple usages. Blizzard wouldn't spend money to put us off! Bobby Kotick needs one more gold backscratcher! Duh!

Hey, gnomes are awesome. They've got a technological wonderland for a capital at a time when humans are still building their walls out of stone and mortar. If it weren't for Sicco losing it and pulling a Fallout on Gnomeregan, they'd be without question the technological and scientific powerhouse on the planet.

Good find Mysnc, if Boub reads this he should get credit for the find. Backing up on what you say I think this is very likely because a few months ago GC said "For the inevitable fourth expansion, lead system designer Greg Street has said it's more likely Blizzard will go with "a new continent approach" rather than revamp the existing areas for a second time in a row." and here is the source:

Not too shabby, but an expansion based on Pandaria just means this game is really leaning towards casual.



I mean:

Who's the Raid boss?
Is Pandaria really that dangerous?
Expansion centered on Pandaria? I sense lore disapointment.
People Fighting in Pandaria?
Will this Expansion focus on Social aspects?(because there wont be lots of dungeons and battlegrounds)
Sucking up to China?

So am I, but the way they've been talking since Wrath it seems like their MO is two if they're introducing races, and one for hero classes.

Not to say I wouldn't die of glee if I could roll up a female dwarf monk and a female orc brewmaster on the same day.

Can't help it I love the game, love the lore, don't get annoyed when they put knew stuff into the lore, love sneaky infos on new stuffs, it's what makes the game fun and interesting
