Does Dark Intent Proc off of burning embers from imp's as destro?
And...also, does my crit chance directly affect my imp's crit chance?

Burning Embers does not crit at all. The only time you should ever give your imp Dark Intent is if either a) you are soloing things, or b) the other person you are with has nothing to benefit from haste and has no DoT that can crit.

should remove b), as every single class (even if they have zero dots) will gain a higher increase in dps from 3% haste than your pet does

Burning embers is your DoT anyhow, not the imp's as such it does benefit from the 9% bonus damage, but as it cannot crit, it will not proc the damage bonus on your DI target.
