    Overclocking

Hello, long time reader of the computer sub forum, first time poster, I was just looking for some advice on overclocking, I'm well aware of how to do it through several guides, but I was just curious how much everyone here thinks I'd be able to overclock it to, I'll post my system specs below, and I'd love some great advice!

AMD Phenom 9750 Quad Core Processor 2.40 GHz
    4 GB RAM
    NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450

I also have only a 450 watt power supply, and although I know that is low, I was just curious if that would hold back my ability to overclock.

Depends on your heatsink, how good your PSU is, your individual chip and your motherboard. It really is hard to tell. Go step by step and when you can't go further you have reached your max.
Edit: considering you can only manipulate the FSB, I guess it depends on your RAM as well (?).

Get Core Temp (Or a similar program) and gradually overclock your cpu more and more, seeing the temperatures you get
