The first Pokemon movie had an awesome opening when I was like 10.
Now I'll say Gladiator though, because exploding catapult stones is just awesome.

The car crash at the beginning of Final Destination 2. Horrible movie. Horrible chain. Amazing opening sequence :-)

I remember back in '93 Watching "Jason goes to Hell: Friday the 13th" in the opening scene, this chick ( undercover cop ) was in a towel, and bending over to adjust the water in a bathtub LMAO, and just as she did, I made the loudest Fart sound, and the whole theater laughed for about 5 mins. If you can google it and find that scene, watch it, I am chuckling just thinking about it LOL...

Watchmen by far has the best opener
