A few months after Wrath release unfortunately.
A few months after Wrath release unfortunately.
Started with the vanilla release. My first char was a warrior but I dropped him like 3 weeks later for a hunter which became my main until WoTLK where I started my DK!
Got to love all those saying they started during vanilla alpha. There was never any alpha open to the public, and I wouldn't consider playing on a sandbox server (which I did) as actually playing the game as you could pretty much only run around in the world, nothing else.
I began around January in 2005 so that'd make it vanilla too.
I was there on launch day. Though I'm ashamed to say I had been following EQ2 and bought it on launch day as well. A few weeks later I was done with it and boarded the WOW train.
Far too long ago, during Vanilla.
I started playing in WotLK, because it took my husband 4 years to convince me to try (he started playing in Vanilla) :P
I bet 90% of the poll is a lie. "I started in vanilla!" uh huh. lol :P
Its possible, though.
I started in vanilla. I didn't play as much as I did in late TBC early wrath, though.
I started about 3 months prior to the end of TBC, some RL friends got me hooked to the game. Didn't really start knowing what I was doing until after I did Naxx at 80 a few times.
Well i started with a trial account in late TBC, just before wrath and then really liked the game, but wasn't sure if i would spend money on it. After a while i decided to play it for reals.
Started during TBC, first on some "other worlds" then did jump on the official servers just after LK was introduced.
