I agree, I only wish the colors were a little different for my taste. Love the horns, but I have a hard time matching it with other pieces

Which was not enough time for me to get it. I'm not big on raiding and the only way to get the Challenge Mode dungeons is to have good gear. I had planned to pay my way through but I'm terrible at making gold and people wanted an absurd amount.

Uuuh... you could do it in dungeon blues with any standard group comp. Not sure what you're talking about.

Though I agree its stupid that they limit shit like that. I mean its nifty that I have this thing that only people who did it will ever have from now on... but I can't tell you how many times I've picked up a new game and at some point looked for the armor that would be my carrot on a stick to chase after for end game only to find out that it's not available anymore. Which is bullshit.

It should totally still be in there, even if it were a different color to make a separation for when you got it.. should totally still be in there.

Good gear yes, raid gear, no. Everything scales so some of the best pieces could come from questing/dungeons. I know I had a couple blues in my inv for procs.


But yeah MoP time slipped by for me as well. Thankfully I snagged a group in the dungeon section of LFD. Killer group too, we 1 shotted everything.

I'm only going by what others have told me. Then it wouldn't be the same set and would give those who already obtained the original set a chance to get another. I wish I could say this nonsense was limited to MMOs but a lot of developers are doing this with pre-order bonuses and other in-game items. It's incredibly obnoxious and does not benefit anyone. Well, I suppose it does for those with a massive ego that like to pretend they're better than others because they happened to obtain something someone else did/could not.

People seem to forget that in MoP CM, the sockets on items were valuable since, the gems in them did not scale, like they do now. After a point, CM groups demanded 18-21 sockets (the max, if i remember correctly). Was it doable in blues? yes. Did socketed gear have an advantage over blues? Definitely so.

Because then why bother making that second set? I assumed the point of your argument was to give everyone the opportunity to obtain the set. Not to give those who already have it a chance at another one. That would not resolve anything.
