Helm is " Hallowed Crown" from The Arcatraz.

Shoulder ,Belt and Gloves are Tier pieces from Ny'alotha.

Tabard is Argussain Reach .

It's boots from some EPL quest. They are knee high.

Is there a way to "trick" the game into using the Demo artifact as Destru? I somehow managed to xmog my 2h staff into the Affl artifact, but when I equiped a 1h + OH to try and get to use the skull the game wont let me.

You don't need to trick it.

literally just select legion artifact.
although here is how it works

if it is your specs artifact, you can use it no matter what weapon you have
but if it is another specs artifact, you need that weapon type
so as destro/affiction if you want the skull you need to be using a mh/oh

I am aware of that, thats how I use the Affl staff as Destro spec.
However, as I stated in my post before, the same thing does not work with the Demo skull when using a MH/OH combo. When I select artifacts there is no option for the skull / demo artifact.

The skulls should also appear as Offhand options, at least they did at some point.

Yep, if you're using an Offhand, select it, and the Demo Skulls will appear as options after the BfA items - you can even use a different Mainhand in that case!
