I'm going for T5 stuff, but I'm having serious difficulty soloing Kael since they locked the doors. Anyone know of a T5 chest look alike that could be subbed in, as well as a cloak to go with it?

You can do it. I do it as my normal Affliction Sacrifice spec. Start with VW out, kill kill equip and activate staff, then phase3 is pretty easy. Sacrifice VW for Kael, put normal weapons back on after the first disorient cast, I assume you still get MC'd if you have a pet out.

That chest (T7.5) might match T5 well enough, it's a little more brown than grey (plus the black/red).

for those wanting T5 chest but having trouble with Kael'thas.

just grind out 1,000 honor and buy the merciless gladiator chest from the pvp vendor in area 52, they are the same model, just the pvp set is slightly darker in color than the pve T5 set.

i was able to collect tokens for the chest, hands, and shoulders and bought the helm for 1k honor (using the arena season 2 lock set)

I haven't seen anyone else using this particular combo and I quite like it. Full voidheart with the helm from ICC. Matches incredibly well in my opinion and looks great with my fel shards floating behind me.

That should look pretty good, may need to look into that. I'm using the Verdant Spheres with Felheart raiment at the moment myself the green in both matches quite nicely.

Just not sure about the gloves. I wanted gloves that would match the gold/green of the shoulders, but I'm not sure if these exactly hit the mark.

The lime green jewel thingy on the outside draws the eye much more than the more teal inner shade, which is what I was looking for. I could have gone with something that matched the red (or maroon, or whatever it is) of the shoulders (from the same set, actually), or just any gloves that would not be noticeable under the sleeves of the robe, but, meh ... wanted something a little flashier.

Normally don't go for flashy on my lock but since I put something flashy together I wanted to go all out.

But, yeah, if anyone could suggest any gloves that might work better ... preferably green/gold to match shoulders/helm (if you didn't notice the gold bit at the top of the helm). Thanks in advance.

That looks eerily like Richard of Looking for Group comic fame. Must be the glowy yellow eyes + mouthwrap, though the robe you used adds to the whole Richard feel too.

Or I've just read that comic for too long and am starting to see Richard everywhere
