Went onto the PTR, and it's nice to get an in-game look at some of the transmog stuff, although it's limited at the moment.

This kind of thing annoys me, though; two-hand version at top, one-hand version at bottom. I'd love for them to increase the size of the two-hander by maybe 15%?, but I know it's set in stone.



Also, Blizzard's penchant for making gorgeous cloaks but inexplicably only offering them in short varieties continues to frustrate.

Assembled this transmog from the in-game items the art is inspired by (guessed that the set boots would be used), but it bugs me that the Gladiator pieces have a purplish hue that doesn't match the steel gray of the other pieces, and that there isn't a "thin glove" version of those Ulduar gloves.

Shields that look good on a Male Dranei? I just race changed my Paladin to a Dranei, been a dwarf forever. I go to transmog and 99% of the shields I have look like small dinner plates strapped to his elbow. Any suggestions? I'm thinking I'll have to build a transmog around a good looking shield.

I've always been partial to this one: Royal Crest of Lordaeron

Not necessarily "on theme" with a Draenei, but not sure if you're going with that.

Thanks for that suggestion. I do have that shield, in fact I had to go back and check because I remember having it, but I don't remember seeing in when doing transmogs on my paladin. Why is it available for my warrior and not my paladin? Kind of odd.

Happy to help. I've always felt it paired well with the Red Sword of Courage (but that could be because the last time I seriously considered my character's look was at the tail end of Wrath).

That chestguard/chin-guard(?) in front of the helmet... is it part of the helm or the chest armor? I wish more armor had special 3D assets to them.

You know, looking at the armor in WoWHead's dressing room, it looks really good (even without the helm and shoulders). I do very much like the fur-trimmed hood that hangs behind the shoulders.

Really gives it character, I think.

The Normal recolor is a steely red/orange, and one of the Legion cloaks goes very well with it. Of course these all have SL cloaks that appears to go with them, but others tend to look as good or better.

I get that. The Heroic version is a very austere silver, and LFR is a muted gold.
