Heroic: Ragnaros Nerf
The Heroic version of Ragnaros in the Firelands has been hotfixed and considerably nerfed a few minutes ago.

• The 25-man version of Ragnaros now has 246M HP, down from 290M.
• The 10-man version of Ragnaros now has 74M HP.

There are also various reports of the fight feeling easier overall, and a couple of other fights in the Firelands raid seems to have been changed as well. Hopefully this wasn't a stealth nerf and we'll hear from Blizzard soon.

Awww crap, I know the MLP fan is going to try and claim responsibility for this despite ponies/rainbows being an in-joke well before those scenesters gained notoriety. Which of course will just lead to haters linking the game with that wretched fanbase.

Wish they had just gone with unicorns instead, than they could blast Harmony while you're in the secret world and everyone would be happy.

10 weeks to the day.

Yeah, if anybody is still surprised/outraged/face-slapped that Blizzard nerfs raids after time passes, well...don't really know what to tell 'em. Especially with cases like this, where we're not talking about difficult Achievements. Less than 60 guilds (10 and 25 combined) have killed Heroic Ragnaros. Period. 10 weeks in.

From what I observed tonight, I can say that the trash outside of Baelroc's staging area now works as it was supposed to. That is, the Channelers actually DO increase the power of the Magma fire guys. Previously, you could just nuke the guy that un-shields the channelers and slowly kill the Channelers without it affecting the magma elementals much.

This means you have to pause DPS to rapidly kill the channelers each time the main guy "motivates" them to prevent the Magma elemental from killing everyryone.
