Best Axe for Transmog

The Vengeful Gladiator 2h axe is what I use. I'd prefer the Deathbringer Saurfang 10man(either normal or heroic) axe, though, as it fits my full Wrathful paladin better(or just give me a damn Gurthalak so I can use the Wrathful 2h sword...)
Otherwise, the recolor of the DBS axe(Wrathful somethingsomething) or Gorehowl are my top picks. Another one that actually looks kinda decent is the one from a Stratholme quest, Fras Siabi's Cigar Cutter.
If you want a black/red one, and you're Horde, you could get the one from ToC25.

I'm fairly sure that you can't use it because it has no stats. You can only use items with stats on them to avoid players from using "silly" items.

There's not much else I can think of that fits your criteria. TBH I think Worldcarver is almost as good as you can get for axes.

That can be transmogged. The haste proc counts as a "stat". It was a legitimate weapon for use by Pally's and Warriors back in the day.

What? Hellreaver, Hatebringer, Jade Warrior Pauldrons, Rage Reaver, LeigonFoe (and it's same-model alternatives). I'm not talking about the green "...of the whatever" gear that lasts less time than it took to complete the quest to get it, but the (mostly) rare and epic gear. Even then, Rage Reaver (the early green quest axe you get from HFP) looks a lot better than any of the green axes from Wrath or Cataclysm.

You cant transmog legendary items, and you can't even transmog Shadows Edge for some reason. Atleast last time i tried.

Jade Warrior Pauldrons are recycled from classic, they're identical to Emerald Pauldrons of the etc etc. Lofty was the best texture for that model anyway. I will say that the rest of the "set" they "belong" to (Fel Iron Plate) is a lot better than the rest of the Emerald Plate gear, but it's still recolored from classic items (most notably Darksoul/Enchanted Thorium plate, Girdle of Uther), and there are much better examples of classic recolors among TBC levelling gear ("Uther's Ceremonial" armor for Paladins, for instance).

Hatebringer's model is recycled from classic as well, and its skin was already used for a deleted raid quest in ZG/AQ20. You really think Rage Reaver looks better than this? http://www.wowhead.com/item=55294 <- would have been an epic in classic WoW

I'll give you Hellreaver and Legionfoe/similar though, those were pretty cool. Axe of the Legion is still one of the best one-handed axes.

Still doesn't change that it's better than pretty much anything they've put out since. Wrath had horrid levelling gear. Where is that axe you linked from, because I've never seen it despite levelling a DK, a Pally and a Warrior to 85 (I went from the first sword you get in Hyjal to a 2h Mace later on in the zone, to the Deepholm blue axe to the CoC sword for each of them before hitting up dungeon weapons). I agree, a design that good SHOULD have been an epic, regardless of expansion. Better than any of the Arena 2h Axes, in my opinon (save for Wrathful).
