    I've just recently noticed that Horsea is horse and sea put together and also a pun on horsie

    And Horsea is also a play on Seahorse (which is what it is)

    So does Skelington. Took me a while to figure out Squirtle was squirrel-turtle though. Always thought it was squirt-turtle.
