I need some thoughts on what to teach my houndoom.

I got:
-Flamethrower
-Dark Pulse

Then no clue. Maybe will-o-wisp/toxic and protect combo. Or Strength for the HM and something else.Thinking also Rest and sleep talk maybe. No idea honestly.

- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse / Sucker Punch
- Solar Beam / Hidden Power Rock / Hidden Power Grass / Substitute

Any of those will work.

You can get ditto in the pokemon village. I could on X anyway. Youll be able to get to the pokemon village long before the friend safari.

I know, I caught a few there, but the friend safari ones can know the secret ability and they're guaranteed to have at least two perfect IVs or something like that.

Question: if i raise my pokemon's evasion, and then withdraw it from the battle and then send it back out, does it lose it's evasion gain?

Yes, unless you Baton Pass between the Pokémon.

Finally got around to getting past the elite four (been so busy breeding / ev training etc ).

They were surprisingly easy :/, although to be fair speed boost ev trained adamant mega blaziken kind of wrecked face.



Now my next project.. breeding a shiny modest Noibat.. wish me luck

Im thinking about getting into the IV thing. I do know how to ev train and the natures. I have a few questions.

Is there anyway to tell the iv of a pokemon yet?
What is the max IV, isn't it 31?
How do I pass on said IVs?
Will pokemon just randomly have good IV's when being hatched?
What item and where do I get it to pass on IVs?
