Blastoise already looks like a Digimon though. So yeah.

Looks like the forms at least last through out the entire battle. I can live with that. Just wish they had another name. Mega-Evolution is kind of misleading.
While the Illusion ability could make for quite a unique mechanic in the game, 6th Gen will have been out for at least over half a year when Smash 4 releases, so it'd be an odd time to try and represent 5th Gen. When Lucario got into Brawl 4th Gen was still current, so it made sense. I'm personally betting my money on Pikachu, Pokémon Trainer (with same Pokémon), Jigglypuff, Lucario and Mewtwo being the Pokémon characters. Pikachu and Pokémon Trainer represent fan favorites, while Lucario, Mewtwo and Jigglypuff all represent 6th Gen in Mega Evolutions and Fairy-type, which means that Jiggs will probably get some moves revamped too.

Both. Be both.
Anyways, back to on topic.
That feeling you get when finally transferring all your useful pokemon to your game. I've had some of these Pokemon since early gen3. They bring back a lot of nostalgia. Yeah. Back when I used to suck at Pokemon.
My brother wanted to fight me on LeafGreen, so I let him raise his own team. He refused to play any other generations except gen1. He ended up quitting before he finished the game, but he gave me his Charizard (whom he had nicknamed Charlie.).
