So, I'm in this cartoon/sketch art class in my high school. Had to do some art in the style of some famous artist, started out as a cartoon, ended up with this

What do you guys think? I messed up a little on the eyes, I think, and I'm not sure if I got the neck just right.

Nice job! I think if you lengthen the outside of his right eye to make it more triangular to mirror his left, then that would fix that. As for his neck,instead of the back curving out, maybe straighten it or even make it curve in a bit. Other than that, your picture is very cool and as others have said, you're a natural

If katchin is neutron star material, and Goku lifted that in base form easily... That's nuts. Just something to think about!

Yeah, you're right about the face and neck part, but overall, it's pretty damn good. I'm sure that if you try again you'll nail it

Nice SSJ3! I drew some DBZ stuff when I was younger too. I think the forehead and eyes seem pretty accurate; SSJ3 kind of has this neanderthal look to it and you got that pretty well. The neck and jaw line seem to be a little off, but this is a lot better than most people could do. You certainly have natural artistic talent. The hair looks great, btw.

I'm going to fix everything, thinking maybe I could finish everything in pastels and see if I can't get the ki aura to look good that way (Comes out terribly when I did it in Sharpie, colored pencil, and markers). With the pastels, I can get it so different shades of yellow and white mix to (hopefully) come out similar to the actual images.

I'll come back here once it's all finished

Are they bringing Absolon to Adult Swim? One of the other videos that can be clicked at the end of the the one Zoma posted shows AS showing a preview for it. Also, Mr. Popo being anything but small and fat is really funny.

is absolon great story wise? prob not.... but damn does who ever the hell made it have talent. them multiverse guys draw really well, but its all still frames.... absalon is the style of dbz (a bit bloated though) with the proper sound effects and movements.

(What I see is that Frieza was some type of minion or worked for Bils, Frieza did destroy many planets and civilizations, maybe Bils created Frieza to make his God of Destruction job easier.)

I'm having trouble understanding the issue.
The people who participate in this thread don't consider the images "spam", no harm no foul imo.
And as far as "memes" are considered, any picture, regardless of captions, could be considered a "meme" its a very broad term.
It's unfair to use blanket definitions and have them see fit to one's own standards, when the regular posters as a whole wouldn't consider them "true memes" but just a comedic picture relative to the subject matter.

I would also like to ask of you, if it isn't too much trouble, to explain, specifically, because it's unclear what the issue is, is their complaints about the images being posted? Than one begs the question why enter a thread you have no interest in just to complain?

In short spam and meme are open to be defined and interpreted by the readers, if you are going to post warnings in this thread, a clear reasoning and explanation would be highly pleasing as it would resolve any hostility between mods and posters. I'm sure there is a good valid reason behind it, but it should be made clear.

I, for one, enjoy the pictures. It's a fun way to see Dragonball be incorporated with modern culture, and it's awesome to see so many people be taking an interest in it again (Being one of the few DBZ lovers at a high school where stuff like this gets you hung from the flagpole at your underwear; Long story).
