I guess there are two ways to attain it:

1. someone to teach you God "Ki"
2. ritual

I like the theory that a Super Saiyan who experiences the power of the Super Saiyan God will basically 'learn' how to use god ki. Goku experienced it from the ritual, Vegeta experienced it by training with Goku after Goku obtained it. It would also explain how Trunks' Rage form developed out of nowhere after his bouts with Goku and Vegeta after they obtained god ki.

Just shy of 2 hours from the one of the larger cities in my state, which will probably be the only possible outcome for seeing it, but still not going that far. Home Media it is then!

I mean, if Cooler was to become Canon, I would hope they make him do something completely different aside from trying to out do Frieza by doing the same thing Frieza did (only bigger?).

Maybe instead of being a straight up villain, he could be a not completely evil anti-hero?

Who knows. Broly based on leaks seems to have his original form. AKA the one kale was based on. but he gettin buffed
