    Just found a 260CFM fan

    It's glued to the table, so it doesn't fly out in outer space at max speed.

    I think that it might make a very good fan at min speed though. Imagine 5-6 of these in a full tower...

    hmm, would be interesting if you connected it to a controller based off CPU/GPU load, the sound of hearing your computer "powering up" under load would be awesome, just as long as it doesn't sound like my servers, i've shoved them in a corner behind some foam due to the sound

    a bit more, these use around 55w, that's beyond the 17w max for most MB fan headers, so you will need a dedicated PWM fan controller,

    And you need a pretty powerful controller too, especially if you want to power several of these fans.

    The cool part is, with powerful fans like this, you can make a case sound VERY similar to a real high bypass engine, like off a C-17 or something.
