"Hybrid View"

Suddenly, with no warning, I started getting something called "Hybrid View" when opening threads. This thingy lists all the links in the thread in a window at the very top of the forum part of MMO-Champion. Its annoyance factor is ungodly, and I'd very much like to get rid of it since it takes 15 seconds loading a new thread page with it on. Does anyone know how it's done?

It has happened to me too, twice. Ahh today was Hybrid, yesterday it was something else, a different name.

I believe both times I had been googling links and clicked on an interesting MMO-C hit .. after replying to the poster in the link (from google) it went to the funky screen.

Don't know if it is related. Clearing your cache fixes the problem. If you don't clear the cache you get stuck with just seeing the first poster of each thread and nothing else.

You'll have to re-log after you clear the cache, though.

if it helps pick the problem, it's solid bar (text size) .. that is ahh bluish green, with "Hybrid" left justified. there is also a 10'ish line empty space between Hybrid and the top user bar (Home, Forum, Private Message, FAQ ... )

For some reason, Google seems to like hybrid view... I'm not sure why, and it's pretty annoying, to be honest.

You can also fix it by re-saving your profile settings.

you can also change it by clicking on "Display" at the top-right of the thread (opposite of "+Reply to Thread")

Ah yup that works (display). That's much easier than clearing and relogging

The other mode I got switched to the other day was Threaded.
