They basically said "Skyward Sword won the deathmatch because the fans were enraged" and literally "Anger always wins." So they didn't nominate it for goty and just gave it Skyrim anyway.
It's not like having the title really matters, and it doesn't affect my view of the game, but this site just lost all possible credibility it could ever have had.
