    As far as I know. Generally there are only three times the feet are used.

    Field goal kick if you are close to the endzone (Somewhat of a goal you have to run or throw and catch the "ball" in to)
    Punts when you are about to lose the ball due to downs (Plays pretty much) and are too far to make a field goal
    Punting to the other team after you score a touchdown (Ball in endzone).
