I've just began using JohnSmith's texture pack. It's amazing. Although I'm not quite a fan of the armor textures. They may be a work in progress, but the chest plates in particular (for Iron) look pretty bland, although I do see the details in them.

I use 32x sphax. I love the comic vibe it gives. A little bit of humor in the monsters while being more detailed and more interesting than stock. Sometimes I use 32x Faithful, which is basically higher-res versions of the stock textures.

Not a fan of the photorealistic packs, or the specialist packs. LB Photorealistic looks absolutely stunning at 512x though.

I've tried an insane amount of texture packs; DokuCraft and LB Photorealism are amongst my favorites, though I've grown tired of HD packs.. They don't fit in for me.

Currently using JohnSmith, which I REALLY like.

Now that Skyrim has been released, and I've realised how much I love the design of the game, anyone know any good HD or decent looking texture packs that look Nordic? NordicCraft or whatever it is hasn't been updated in ages, and theres that one that XSSheep is working on, but it isn't finished yet.

I've only ever used John Smith's and Doku. Never had a reason to try others, those were amazing for me. *hides in a box* and nobody can tell me otherwise! Except a few of you.. A few of you had some pretty amazing ones..

BumpMaft by AaGeOn back in the alpha days. Greatest texture pack I have ever seen and used. R.I.P

Up-vote for "Faithful". Same shit, more pixels. Can't go wrong there =] I got this one called "Ovo's Rustic" which is kinda cool sometimes. I really like the doors, chests and stone products. Most texture packs are pretty bad though, half of the textures are cool, and the other half make the eyes bleed. Any pack that makes cobblestone look less eye-gougingly bland is good in my book.

Oh I just.. I can't resist. That is my favourite. *cough*
Anyway, I don't use texture packs myself really. I always mess around with textures myself when need be.

I did always like Jolicraft though.

Anybody know of any texturepacks that would make my armor look all wizard-y and mage-like?
